All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom is not at the top of the graduate school mountain, but there in the sand pile at school.
These are the things I learned:
Share everything.
Play fair.
Don't hit people.
Put things back where you found them.
Clean up your own mess.
Don't take things that aren't yours.
Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Flush.
Warm cookies and milk are good for you.
Live a balanced life-learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and work everyday some.
Take a nap every afternoon.
When you go out in the world, watch for traffic, hold hands and stick together.
Be aware of wonder.
Everything you need to know is in there somewhere!

Wanted!

I would love to have some parents volunteer to come in and help out with activities in our room! I would love to have parents come in and read to us, help out with centers or help out with Kid Writing. You could come in and read anytime at all, centers are from 12:00-1:00 Monday-Thursday and we do Kid Writing on Friday mornings from 9:30-10:45. If you are willing to volunteer your time to have some fun with us, please send a note in your child's folder, give me call at the school or e-mail me right here at the bottom of our blog. I look forward to having you come in!
